Caritas Moldova is a charity Organisation with social role, whose mission is to give love, care and attention. Registered on 10th of May 1995 as one of the 48 members of the Federation and member of Caritas Internationalis Caritas Europa contributes to poverty eradication and the establishment of equitable social systems, introducing innovative projects that have resulted in enhancing the welfare of the community, promoting values tolerance and Christian charity.

Today, Caritas gives support for poor people and people who are  in a critical social situation by providing: humanitarian aid, housing for the homeless, food, personal hygiene, primary medical examination, assistance in finding a job and a place for living, children reintegration  in the family, psychological and spiritual support tobeneficiaries through various activities and discussions held, strengthen and empower the community members to be involved in improving situation of children in need and also creates local groups of volunteers.

Through partnership with the network of terminals NettoPro, we provide a new method, simple and accessible that can support the main categories of beneficiaries of Caritas Moldova: the elderly with minimal sources of existence, homeless, disabled, incurably ill or infirmed, children and youth from vulnerable families and / or parent, and also other people in need.

Our mission carries out its activities in Moldova through the National Office and its 11 branches located in Balti, Bender, Chisinau, Cretoaia, Grigorauca, Raşcov, Ribnita, Slobozia Raşcov, Stauceni, Stîrcea, Tiraspol.
